Romans 11:33 - "Don't Become Proud, but Fear" (August 11)

Romans 11:20  ~  Stand fast through faith.  Do not become proud, but fear....note the Kindness of God...and the Severity toward those who have fallen.  Continue in His Kindness.

Romans 11:33 ~ Oh, the depth of the Riches and Wisdom and Knowledge of God!  How unsearchable are His Judgments and how inscrutable His Ways!

Romans 11:36 ~ From Him and through Him and to Him are all things.  To Him be Glory forever. Amen.

  1. What good news for all of us we have in these words! "The Deliverer will come from Zion, he will banish ungodliness from Jacob and this will be my covenant with them when I take away their sins." For the Jew, restoration, for the Gentile, inclusion. "For the gifts and calling of God are irrevocable."
We, as grafted in olive branches are part of the Tree of Life because He has hardened the Jew's heart for us.

Oh the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His Judgments, how inscrutable His ways!

What an amazing God we know! How perfect and beautiful and loving His plan! To Him be the Glory, indeed.

  2. I praise God for the mercy and kindness God provides in my life. Getting to know each of you as I read the scripture and then your comments, and your prayer requests as you share your lives with me are a huge blessing.

In recognizing God's kindness to me and his amazing mercy I so desire to show kindness and mercy to others.

This is a Song I must Sing, Sylvia. Grace and Peace

  3. Romans 11:19 "Then you will say, "Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in."That is true. They were broken off because of their unbelief, but you stand fast through faith."

How grateful I am to be grafted in. I am also grateful for the pruning God has done in my life, it hurts at first, but how worthwhile it is to get rid of painful things by trusting Him to weed out things that keep me from trusting him, and as a result, heal my heart.
