Acts 10:44 "Level Ground @ The Cross" (July 1)

Acts 10:34 Peter opened his mouth. While Peter was saying things about the Word of God, the Holy Spirit fell on all who heard the Word. Acts 10:44.  Peter's word: No favorites in the Kingdom.  There are no big people and little people in God's Kingdom, like there are in this kingdom we live and work and play in.  May we move in love into the lives of all who cross our path this moment, this day, this always.  Or am I weighing how this person can benefit me?  May we be more concerned about reaching out to others regardless of stature, significance, success.  Come.  Holy Spirit.  Fall.

  1. "all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name."

The Holy Spirit then fell on the Gentiles..

Grafted in, through Grace, Jesus came to save the world from our sin, from our separation from Him.

How much the Father loves us! Freedom through forgiveness, joy through belonging to One Body, blessing overflowing as the Spirit poured out over Jew and Gentile alike.

Such Good News for this day and forever more.

July 1--halfway through the year, we come here each day for a Word and in His mercy, He levels the ground to all--sinners, we all are, too, in such need of a Savior, and the freedom that comes from knowing Him personally!

  2. Beautiful place to be ... at the vast ocean where you can't see where the east starts nor the west ends ... but the real beautiful place is being here, knowing all your sins are washed away. I look back on this half year and years passed by and marvel at God's grace that has not passed me by but has stopped. I may be in a dark place right now, and in some ways it just became much darker this week, but Psalm 18:28 He is creating Light in my darkness. Helping me to find a Rest I know not. And all is well even though I must embrace the loss and move on. Thanks for being a safe place to come here. Most people don't want you to suffer and, like it says in Job, people think you are doing something wrong. Our flesh doesn't want to suffer. Our God knows our frame. Words are inexpressible at this point and Grace is overwhelming---He will get me through even this. Our momentary sufferings are all for the Glory of God and I choose to live with that ~~~ asking/seeking/knocking for peace to pass all I don't understand. He's a Beautiful God in all of you pouring forth this past year and can't wait to see what He will do the Second Half!
