Read with me cover-to-cover in 2026. Start the Old & New Testaments together on January 1. About 3 chapters per day. About 15 minutes of your day. Join us as the axe of Biblical Love thaws the frozen parts (66LL) in our hearts. My focus in 2026 is counseling yourself from the Word. We average 60,000 thoughts per day. Take courage. Talk to yourself from Truth. I am more emotional and pensive and overly-sensitive than most. I need to know how to truly live.

Acts 7:22 "Mighty in Words & Deeds" (June 24)
Acts 7:22 Moses was mighty in his words and deeds. Stephen is mighty in his words and deeds. 43 Verses from the Old Testament story that flow out of his profoundly personal experience with the Living God of the Old Testament, the Living Word inside of Stephen. Is God's Word alive in me? When do you find yourself most awake in Him?

This is the Moses...
ReplyDeleteThat God sent to lead Israel to their promised land.
That presented them living oracles, stones today that recorded Ten.
That hid in the cleft and saw God's Glory pass before him.
That led Israel OUT of bondage in Egypt
That Stephen recounted in his amazing soliloquy today.
His words faithfully recorded. And remembered. God's faithfulness through Moses, through Stephen, through us today continues strong and sure.
Something's messed up here. I'll try to fix it. I think yesterday's was supposed to post today or something like that. I'm just thrilled to have service where I am cause there is no such thing as Wi-Fi here in the foothills of Mount Rainier. So how am I on???
ReplyDeleteWhat stuck me in today's reading was the reminder that Moses had to have a desert experience before he was ready to lead the children of Israel out of bondage. His whole life as well as ours is ALL in His perfect timing....from him being saved from death at birth and raised in the Pharaoh's house, to running to the desert. Everything made him who he was and needed to be to serve the Lord God. He's done that for each one of us...the plans for our lives are always in His perfect timing. His faithfulness continues to us and in us to this day. How I want God's Word alive in me today and for it to be overflowing to others.
