John 14 "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life." (June 4)

"Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going."

Such beautiful words of comfort today. Don't miss today's reading. Let each promise fill you and soothe your restless heart.

    John 14:12 "Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. 13 Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it."

    Dear Jesus, I am asking in your name today for Bev's speedy recovery, and that you will provide for her needs as you have done in the past. She needs your assurance now, and your love. As the Pearls rally around her in prayer, I pray you will intercede to the Father for Grace, Mercy and Strength for our beloved sister Pearl.

    Just talked with Bev a moment ago, and she's much better. She had food poisoning from a restaurant and got dehydrated very quickly which caused her blood pressure and pulse to drop. She said it lasted about 48 hours and feels better now--just drained. She's headed to a family reunion right now.

    Continue to pray--so many attacks from the enemy--In the Mighty Name of Jesus, bind satan and place a hedge of protection over Bev. Show favor to Your servant, Lord! Amen.

    "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also."

    To think, that this is what Jesus is doing right now...preparing us a place...sends my imagination to fables and fairytales. Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, Snow White...something about these fairytales touch a place in the hearts of all young girls.

    Our God loves us so much to send His only Son to suffer and die for us. That is the TRUTH.

    His Son came. He walked here. He was seen by many. He had men and women who gave up everything to go and tell His story...even at the risk of certain death.

    Fairytales...some believe our faith is just that. They go on and shake their fist at God and refuse His offer of salvation.

    I believe Jesus IS preparing me a place to be with Him. In fact, sometimes this world seems to be nothing but a lie...and the words of God are my only TRUTH.

    Let not your heart be troubled.
    This world is troubled.
    But I have peace that the world cannot give. He has given His peace.

    Father, I know Bev is loved by You. It is TRUTH. Show her how loved she is by You. In Jesus Name. Amen.
