Read with me cover-to-cover in 2026. Start the Old & New Testaments together on January 1. About 3 chapters per day. About 15 minutes of your day. Join us as the axe of Biblical Love thaws the frozen parts (66LL) in our hearts. My focus in 2026 is counseling yourself from the Word. We average 60,000 thoughts per day. Take courage. Talk to yourself from Truth. I am more emotional and pensive and overly-sensitive than most. I need to know how to truly live.

Luke 20:23 "Jesus Perceives Our Every Need" (April 28)
Luke 20:2 "Tell us by what authority you do these things" O Son of God. Seems so arrogant. The Pharisees were just trying to undermine His Authority cause they didn't want to follow Him. They take Truth and load it down with difficulties. But it's not about the jot and tittle---it's about the heart and what is stirring in my heart this very moment.

Praise God, for your health insurance being provided for this month! God is so amazing! Just had to comment on His goodness. Could the following apply to health insurance benefits? I think so!
ReplyDelete"Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits--who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases." Psalm 103:2-3
Thank you Lord for the testimony you gave Bev to share with each of us to encourage us in our own walk with you.
ReplyDeletePraise God that you perceive everything I need and then provide when the time is right according to Your Plan. Help me remember that my life is ALL about You LORD.
This is a Song I must Sing, Sylvia.
So much devastation in the South. Deborah, are you okay, my friend? Praying for Blair and Patrick in their losses, and for Deborah for protection and much comfort, for Alabama, for Georgia--Lord, surely You are returning soon. And praying for you, Angie, for wisdom and peace. Everyone take care and let us know your prayer needs. We are here for you. (We Pearls are more than a reading club!)
ReplyDeleteMostly we take exception when Scripture tells what Pharisees did, but how often do we try to undermine His authority, or if not undermine, simply not submit? Guilty and in desperate need of a Savior this beautiful cool morning on the patio in Spring.
ReplyDeleteSo hard to see the treacherous weather photos, more than 200 declared dead at 9 in the morning. Lord, You know our needs. Be with these families and console them as the recovery and healing begins.
While you are praying for each other and for those who have lost so much due to the storms. I am so thankful, they passed through here and we sat in the closet more than once while the sirens were going off, and we were so spared to not even a loss of power. My young friend with cancer is going to deliver her baby boy, Drew next Wed. then she starts 12 weeks of chemo either on Friday or Monday...Friday if she can avoid a C section. Drew will be small...pray for his lungs and endurance. Sally is her name.
ReplyDeleteBev, praying for Blair and Patrick that they will see God in all of this and that the suffering will bring them closer to Him and each other. Praising Him for providing for your health insurance.
May we each one turn to Him at every turn in our day and realize He truly does perceive our needs and goes before us to make sure they are met in His timing and in accordance with His will.
No one can question the authority of Jesus. He came from heaven to do the will of the Father. And that's exactly what he did and continues to do.
ReplyDeletePerceiving their craftiness, he answered with a convicting reply. They could only be silent.
What a brilliant Saviour He is.
We had calm here at my home and looks like several counties north of us received the storm damage. What a mess this tornado season has left the south! We are all safe but feeling the pain of so many suffering great loss. Have mercy, Jesus.
Thank you all for your prayers. I went to bed not sure of what would happen, but God blessed us here.
Jan, so glad you are ALIVE today after getting choked. How scary.
Bev, thankful for the providence you received.
How is Blair?
Take care, Pearls!
Oh so thankful you are okay, Mary Lou--I always picture you closer and didn't realize you were in harm's way--can't imagine the fear of sitting in a closet and hearing the storm go over. Whew...
ReplyDeleteI imagine this pregnancy has seemed like a very long wait for Sally and her family. What a difficult journey she has ahead of her, too. We will pray as she braves the next few months and ask as each need comes up--right now for a healthy baby, with well developed lungs and strength and a smooth delivery.
Hugs and love...Annette
Oh Mary Lou, didn't realize you were that close to the eye of it all. Wow. Grateful for His Hand on you.
ReplyDeleteIt's really tough when you are facing cancer and pregnant---I can't imagine. Talk about dependence on their Author for her life and the baby's. I have tears running down my cheeks thinking about this precious girl. Did you say that they had a caring bridge website? I'd love to comment.
Oh my, I'm overwhelmed for her. May she find her Good God in the midst of this. Hope Now. Hope Always. Psalm 131.
Blair's attitude was just precious. She is holding fast to her Good God. Leaning on the everlasting arms that won't let them go.
