Luke 13:22 "I'll See You at the Eastern Gate" (April 15)

Luke 13:22 "Then Jesus went through the towns and villages, teaching as he made his way to Jerusalem."  On His way to suffering and He never lost His calling all the way to the Gate.

"Keep your lamps all trimmed and burning;

For the Bridegroom watch and wait.
He’ll be with us at that meeting
Just inside the Eastern Gate."

As you make your own way to the New Jerusalem, what calling will you answer all along that way?
May His Grace flow freely from heart to heart until I lay eyes on you at the Eastern Gate.

  1. I am planning on meeting all of the pearls there. How exciting that will be. Whenever I hear that song I am transported through time to a pew in my youth listening to my dad and mom singing. So many will be there, heartfelt prayers for those who have lost their way. I want to be a travel guide for heaven.

  2. May we all be used to bring more and more to the Eastern Gate..oh,what a day that will be !!! And to think that the eastern gate has been bricked up to "prevent" Him from coming through...NOTHING can keep the King of Glory from going or coming anywhere!!!!Those that have done that evidently believe prophecy but yet their eyes are blind to the whole truth. May His light shine so strongly through each one of us that others will loose their blindness and see His truth.

  3. "Repent or perish." In serious danger of a hardened heart--looking and not seeing, seeing but not feeling compassion, feeling compassion but not acting on the realization, acting but with improper motives...help me, Lord, to confess these sins and so many more, to turn away from evil and move again under Your solid direction, Your secure destination.

    "Repent, or perish."
