Mark 13:9 - But take heed to yourselves.
The word "heed" in the Greek is very emphatic.
And the theme is throughout...
Earthquakes in Japan, birth pains of anguish...He is coming again.
The whole earth groans and waits.
Romans 8:23 - Groan Inwardly. Wait Eagerly. He is coming.
Take heed. Guard what is in you.
Don't be nonchalant about your current stirrings.
The LORD of Compassion longs to make Himself known to you, Isaiah 30:18.
Take heed...
God allowed the disciples to be turned over
to the Grand Sanhedrin, 72 scathing religious people.
Who are we turned over to?
Mark 13:37 Stay Awake
We can't sleep?
We are to live alive to God.
Don't nod off in this life. Awake, my soul!
The message was emphatic 2,000 years ago
and remains emphatic to this day. Stay Awake.
Be on guard for yourselves. Watch out!
Take heed to yourselves and your living.
