Mark 13:31 Heaven and earth will pass away,
but my Words will not pass away.
Jesus prepares the disciples for That Day, His Death.
He lets them know that though He goes, His Words do not.
They remain for That Day and This Day, 2,000 years later.
His Words still remain alive. He will bring to pass what He promises.
Hallelujah!
This Day.
So, Watch and Pray.
May you be found living in His Word.
May you be found in Peace.
To me yesterday's reading and today's go hand in hand...Stand guard and watch and pray.....our Savior is coming soon. We so need to be awake and aware of what is going on around us. We need to be both wise and discerning. The earthquake in Japan and the deaths and destruction, along with the fighting going on in the middle east.....tells me that He is stirring things up and we need to be about the Father's business. We need to be awake and telling every one that Jesus Saves. Flipping through the dial last night, I stopped to listen to someone preach.....he was NOT preaching the Truth. He was spouting off lies in the name of the Father. He was preaching.."if you want a new car every year and a fancy, beautiful home, just put your wallet in your hands and pray along with me.....I wanted to scream!!!! People's souls are perishing and he's telling them that God is sitting up in heaven just waiting to give them a brand new corvette or BMW because He is going to bless them as He has him. One of the biggest lies of satan....God wants you to have a life of comfort and ease and no problems or illness...NOT one word about holiness or faithfulness or the Truth. How it makes it so much more incumbent upon us who know the Truth to be telling it and praying for the souls of those who are lost and perishing for all eternity How we need to watch for Him and pray for the lost.

ReplyDeleteI agree, Mary Lou-all things are in place. It is very apparent that the earth groans and longs for His return. We must be careful, watchful, not to be taken in by the lies, by the treacherous road ahead.
Heaven and earth will pass away but His Word stands forever. Love this promise.
Stay awake: I will take this as an immediate word as well as an approaching prophesy for me today after getting up very early for a Korean Christian church service here at the ranch--stay awake!
